V8 V-Fusion
This is a compensated review by BlogHer and V8.
As you know, one of our family goals for 2010 is to get 5 fruits and vegetables a day. All of us! The easiest way (meaning how to do it with the least amount of whining from the kids) that I have found to make this goal possible is to:
- Puree and add. This method definitely has the least resistance. I can add pureed veggies to entrees, soups, muffins, and even brownies.
- My kids love fruit dried! They’ll eat fruit leather, dried apricots, raisins, etc.
- Making fruits and vegetables accessibe. When I purchase, chop, peel, present etc, they are more likely to partake, then when I keep our carrots wrapped in plastic on the bottom of the vegetable drawer.
- Make smoothies with fruits and vegetables both! A dessert in itself, smoothies are a guaranteed success.
- Include produce with every meal. At lunch, breakfast, dinner, I always try to include some sort of fruit or veggie.
And when all else fails, and you can’t get them to eat their fruits and vegetables in any other way…..They ALWAYS will say yes to:
- JUICE!!
When V8 sent us their V-Fusion, I knew it would be easy to get my family to try it. Juice to them is like dessert.. we don’t splurge on it very often.
The benefit to the V8 V-Fusion juice, is that it’s not just fruit juice. Its vegetable juice, with fruit juice added to make it tasty! It works to. In fact, my husband even suggested I start buying V8 V-Fusion for him to take to work rather than diet soda.

- 1 full serving of vegetables and one full serving of fruit in 8 oz.
- No sugar OR HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP
- No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.

My daughter loves the Pomegranite Blueberry…and I have been meaning to try it but have not. Definetly need to since its and easy way to get some veggies and fruit. Haven’t bought it in a while since it hasn’t been on sale…..but sounds like a good idea to buy again since my daughter has been hardly eating much these days…but she loves to drink.

I’ve never tried it either since it seems like a weird idea to incorporate fruits and veggies in a drink together. I worried that it would taste like V8 plus fruit juice which would just be gross! 
But, it sounds like you liked it, so perhaps I’ll have to give Strawberry Banana a chance.

My Boys are ages 2 and 4 and they love all of them i think if we had to choose one over the other it would be the strawberry banana but i usualy just buy all 3 at once

There is a mango or tropical flavor that lasts in my house for about 30minutes…I dont know the name exactly but I know which one it is when I see it on the shelf.

This stuff IS so good that you do forget that it has good things in it! My kids love it too (although buying juice is a special treat since it’s so pricey!) I love the Peach and Tropical Mango! Yum-o!

I haven’t tried any of these since they first started making Fusion, and I wasn’t a crazy big fan then – but it sounds like they’ve upped their game! My kids have loved every flavor they have tried (strawberry/banana, peach/mango, pomegrante/blueberry), but we haven’t found all the flavors here. I would love to try the passionfruit tangerine, but have yet to see it.

Passionfruit tangerine sounds delicious for me, but my daughter would probably go for the pomegranate blueberry. BLueberries are her favorite and she’s never taken to juice much, so this might work!

I am a big strawberry banana fan, so I’d want to try that one. Great idea by V8- I never liked the texture or taste of tomato juice. My teenage stepsons may even go for one of these. Thanks for the great giveaway!

Our daughter LOVES LOVES LOVES VFusion! It is an easy way for us to get her fruits and veggies without any drama. This has been the only juice we have in our house (besides orange) since she was old enough to drink juice. Her fave is blueberry pom. Can’t wait to try the cranberry!

I haven’t had a V8 Fusion flavor I didn’t like–though my favorite is Tropical Orange. We keep it in the fridge at the office, and if it’s opened in the morning then it’s gone by the late afternoon.

I LOVE V8 Fusion. I buy cartloads of it all of the time because I am able to get the fruit and veggie servings in that I need in a day in with one drink. The strawberry one is my favorite although I do want to try the blueberry one.

My kids are crazy about the V8 fusion. We tried the Strawberry/Banana last week. They like freezing it on popsickle sticks in the summer. Their favorite is jello. So I used the gelatin packs and made jello from the V-Fusion Cranberry Blackberry juice. I’m thinking about putting frozen fruit in it next time. Try it! They will want it forever.

My daughter is obsessed with the Tropical Orange! She drinks it every single day and we always have extra bottles in the pantry.

I’d love to try the Passionfruit Tangerine. We’ve had the Pomegranate Blueberry and really enjoyed it. I’m glad to see V8 is branching out beyond the savory drinks.

Our family hasn’t had a chance to try V8 V-fusion yet. I think my kids would like the Peach Mango. I’m excited to see if they’ll like it since it’s so hard to get them to eat their veggies. The Pomegranate Blueberry sounds really good to me!
