Assuming my kids don’t read my blog, I wanted to share what they are getting for Valentines Day! This is their own treat/snack box, that they can eat or ration as they see fit. Since it’s put together in a fun craft/utility box, they can then keep the box after their snacks are gone to store small trinkets, hair stuff, lego’s, paper clips, or whatever they are collecting at the moment. I know they are just going to love them! Actually- TJ is collecting staples right now. So strange, right?
I got some fun stickers from the craft store to personalize them. Erica got the bling, the boys stickers are plain- and boyish.
The things you can include in your own snack box for your kids are endless. I used:
- Marshmallows.
- Dipped pretzles
- Kisses
- Trail mix
- Teddy Grahams
- Dried cranberries
- and yogurt covered raisins.
I can’t wait till Valentines day to give this to them! What other pantry snacks can you think of?

What a great idea! The kids will LOVE those!
I recently started following your blog…I can’t even remember how I found it…but i’ve bookmarked so many pages so far. This is way clever! I’m a crafter so this is right up my alley. Great idea!
My kids are getting trail mix w/pink m&m’s too — with a tag that says “Valentine, I’m NUTS about you!” and I’m going to do some 100% juice (something red!) w/a cutesy label on it as well. Cute box of goodies — my kids are young enough though that it would be gone in 15 minutes lol. Maybe when they get older :)
LOVE this idea! And on that note, bookmarking your blog :)
Love this idea..so cute!
Where did you get your box? I love the size of it.
Walmart in the craft section!
