As you guessed it, I got a new camera!!! I’m so thrilled. As you know, my old camera had a problem with the lens. Well, Olympus wanted $92 to fix a $100 camera! Lame, obviously. I got a great price on this one. (found it in our local classified ads, used. But its in excellent condition. Although I don’t know what I’m doing yet, just the “auto” setting has given me great pictures like these:

I just got one too! I love it…although I am pretty much clueless when it comes to shooting manually. But I will learn.
Good luck!

You are totally going to love your new camera! I’m sure you already do. I have a different one, but I think once you make the switch to a DSLR, it’s hard to go back. My little point and shoot camera seems SO Slow now!

Kristin, Maybe, but I did just get a laptop for my b-day/christmas, so this just had to be a business purchase. Buy plates! ![]()
Alaina, It’s great that even the auto settings turn out great!
Erika and Liz, I do love it!
Stacey: Yes, gross! Masters of Nutrition.

I just made your granola bars for the second time and they were still good! This time though I only used half the brown sugar and added half a cup of powdered milk (I just read that online – that you can cut out half the sugar in a recipe and replace it with powdered milk – it won’t be as sweet, but it won’t change the science behind the recipe). Anyway, they turned out really well, plenty sweet! Of course, the nut, raisin, craisin, white chocolate chip trail mix I added in certainly helped the sweetness!

Thanks Shannon-Luck is exactly what I need.
Candace:
Sounds good! I’m actually surprised you were able to cut the sugar in half again, because I already cut it in half once. Good to know. I guess we can use less sugar next time. besides, I’d eat anything with white chocolate chips!!
Natalie:
