The last few day’s I’ve been a bit sick!  I don’t do sick well. It just goes to show you that although you can eat well, your immune system can still fail you if you aren’t getting enough sleep and are running yourself ragged!   A mom can only stay up till 3am to see New Moon no more than once a year! Totally worth it though. We had a ton of fun.

Hooray for holiday’s! I’m excited for Thanksgiving.  Wade has to work, but my brother’s are supposed to drive into town, so that should be fun.

I always do a menu for the week. It’s fun to see what other people eat throughout the week. How strict do you stick to your menu? I never seem to be able to do everything I plan.

Maybe they’re new (or maybe I just didn’t notice before – it happens!) but I really like the menu planners. One of the hardest parts of healthy eating for me is just figuring out what to fix and keeping enough variety. Some days I just look at my menu plan and draw a complete blank. We eat much better – and all feel much better – when we eat well balanced meals. If I have a plan, I really stick to it. This helps!

We feel better too. Last week for us, when we didn’t eat regular meals because of the holiday’s and family in town, my husband kept commenting on how crappy he felt, and couldn’t wait to have regular meals again!

I’m pretty good at sticking to the dinners. Out of necessity. However, the other meals…not so much!
